We too prepare a lot of sweet recepies like other Indians. We even have special sweets for special occasion. Like after wedding or a upanayanam feast dhoodha paysu (Raw rice kheer) is must. Then for baby shower you have to prepare 5 different sweets like Undo, Mando, Mandaro, Nevri and Purdo. For Janmashtami you have to prepare Panchaghadayu or any other kheer made of wheat. No rice items could be consumed on this day. Then we have the Satta phovu, this is prepared on the 6th day after birth of the child. Since this phovu is prepared on the 6th day after birth it is the first sweet dish to be prepared in the lifetime of an individual.
