Good Morning!!!!! Time for having your breakfast……..As all of you know breakfast is the most important meal of a day. You should not skip your break fast at any cost. It is a very good energy booster after long hours of continuous sleep & fast. The type of breakfast one have varies from person to person form region to region and place to place.

GSB Konkani in South Kerala breakfast usually include dishes prepared out of rice. Just like other South Indian states we also consume idili, dosa, sambar, chutney etc……along with our own specialties like different types of dosas (adsara polo, masinga pathiyae polo……), rontons (rice puri) etc……As side dishes we consume thiksani humman, pitto thel, etc along with idli dosa etc. But some dishes have specific combinations of side dishes like Rontons go well and tastes well with rontonsa thoy only, but masinga pathiyae polo can be had as such. While writing the recepies I have mentioned the combination(s) for each specific dish.

Since we have been staying in Kerala for generations we also have Kerala dishes like puttu, idiyappam, vellayappam etc…..

So much for now…….still more breakfast items to be included in the menu!!!! Start reading my recepies and leave your comments……
