Spicy dishes and pickles are usually had along with rice or you can have it along with idili, dosa, udida appo etc…… South Kerala GSB Konkani spicy dishes include the various types of thiksani humman prepared with either a single vegetable or with a combination of various vegetables. Thiksani humman are usually hot spicy and tangy to taste. You cannot store them for a long time and always better to finish it off then and there.

We have various types of pickles dry ones, watery ones, instant pickles etc……Majority of the pickles can be stored for a long time especially the dry ones. We prepare pickles even out of bilimbi and star fruit.
