So snacks and savouries category deals with the traditional snacks which GSB Konkanis in South Kerala usually prepare. The specialties include phova ukkari, charmurya ukkari, diamond cuts, different types of chips…….etc etc…..We also have special snacks and sweets that has to be prepared specifically for functions. Like ‘koro’ is mandatory for upanayanam. Small packets of these snacks and sweets are distributed to the guests who come for attending wedding and upanayanam feast. The total number of sweets and snacks together should come up to 5 or 7.
